Clinical Dashboards: Research & Discovery

Project positioning: Understanding how clinical and operational leaders in senior living and post-acute care make decisions using fragmented clinical, staffing, census, and performance data.

Rehospitalization Risk

Making predictive risk information useful at the point of care Predicting that a resident may be rehospitalized is only valuable if care teams can understand the risk early enough and know what to do with that information. This discovery project explored how rehospitalization-risk information could support clinical teams in senior living and post-acute care.

Lean AP / Intelligent Invoice Processing

Using automation to reduce manual work without taking control away from financial users. Accounts Payable teams spend significant time receiving invoices, entering information, validating details, resolving exceptions, and preparing invoices for downstream processing. Lean AP explored how OCR and machine-assisted invoice capture could remove repetitive data entry while keeping financial users in control of decisions that required judgment.

Gender-Sensitive AI Policy in India

As India accelerates its adoption of Artificial Intelligence across healthcare, education, finance, and public governance, an important question emerges: Are AI systems being developed and governed in ways that adequately represent and protect women? This research examines the intersection of gender, artificial intelligence, and public policy in India, investigating how existing social inequalities can become embedded in algorithmic decision-making systems. Drawing on feminist technology studies, intersectionality, and responsible AI frameworks, the study evaluates India's AI governance landscape, identifies gaps in gender-sensitive policymaking, and explores opportunities for more inclusive AI development.

Reducing friction in a safety-critical medication workflow Medication administration is one of the most frequent and high-stakes workflows for nurses in senior living and skilled nursing facilities. The challenge was to make the experience faster and easier to navigate without compromising the clinical information nurses need to administer medications safely.
